I left my sway bar off. Has anyone else done the same? Thoughts? Does it drastically effect the on road driving performance?

Now if I can ever wear this set of tires out, I plan to put 285/70r17's on. These tires have 64K on them and still have life in them though. Goodyear AT kevlar.

Could just be the angle of your photo, but it looks like you have them set with 2" of thread showing yielding around 4" of total lift up front. Did you get any before/after measurements?

I completely forgot to measure before o_O. A bit of display of my ignorance, plus I installed these at my in-laws farm with no internet or wifi, so wasn't able to do any onsite research. I assumed I needed to adjust them out until the gap between the top adjusting screw and the top spacer was 2". I can always adjust it back out, but damn was it a bitch to do with the included spanner wrench. There was a ton of thread left too.

Yeah, it's about a 2:1 ratio. If you adjust the coilovers 1" you get 2" lift etc. Pic definitely looks like 4"+ doubt it will align properly and ride like doo doo, especially with OEM UCA. :fingerscrossed:

I appreciate you catching that. I'll get that adjusted tomorrow. I plan to add UCA's too. There's only so many fedex deliveries you can receive in a week before the wife starts asking questions though.

No prob! at least yours adjust on the top, my Toytecs adjust on the bottom and are damn near impossible to adjust with the wheel on lol. Good luck!

Mounted the rear add-a leaf and shocks today. It doesn't appear as if there is much room left on the bottom of the shocks (see photo). There is a fitting on top to add air. Will that actually give them more travel or is it only for dampening? Perhaps the add-a leafs didn't lift it enough?

How far is your bump stop from your frame? As long as the bump stop hits before the shock bottoms out, you're good.

And just so everyone knows, Jeremy's truck is no longer the Trail Limo, it is now officially called the Struggle Bus.

I don't take a lot of pics, but I'll post what I have later and maybe hit the high points of a few things like how the only Tacomas in the park dominated the club competition and won by a landslide. Those of you who didn't show up really missed out on a great weekend, but we talked poorly about all of you so it's okay.

It's ok. I had fun waking the neighbors at 830am. Adjusting optics and then blasting some rapid fire bursts.

Well, my lights survived the AOP. IMG_6082.jpgIMG_6086.jpgIMG_6089.jpg

But for that one tree... That and my transfer case skid plate took a lot of abuse this weekend. But it was the best part of trail!!:itllbuffout:
    IMG_6079.jpg

I forgot to get any with the camp setup. We had just finished our last run, and were tearing down camp here.
    IMG_6109.jpg

Loaded and ready to roll out! Great weekend!!
    IMG_6110.jpg

Before we departed, just seeing to our free day at the park for winning the club challenge! Tacoma's ROCK!
    IMG_6115.jpg

I'll have some youtube video's up shortly, showing some of the trails.

Okay here's a video clip climbing the main entrance trail that networks to all the other trails.

With a nearly stock suspension my skids got a workout. I spent a good bit time trying to dodge the bigger rocks. The transfer case skid took the worst of the abuse.
