Is there any LED bulbs out there that don't cause your turn signal to hyper flash ? I tried superbrightleds but my turn signals hyper flashed and they said i would need to wire in a resistor for each bulb to stop it
... anyone have any idea if this is true with every LED turn signal bulb?
    I have a 2016 Tacoma

    Thanks !

    There are none.

On older cars you can modify the flasher relay or get one specifically for LEDs. However, new ones are generally computer controlled, and I haven't heard of a way to modify the computer to use LED turn bulbs.

I have LED'S in my reverse lights, front corner marker lights and all my interior. I had LED bulbs for my front DRL/Signal and for my rear tail lights & signal .. they worked but when you turn signal on they hyper flashed .. didn't really want to cut into wires and splice in load resistors so that's why i was wondering if there was an alternative

That's why I got the plug & play wiring with the resistors built in. No splicing.

Do you have to run resistors at each turn signal LED?

Here is a set of really nice amber LEDs that fit the 3rd gen front signals and do *not* hyperflash. Color is perfect amber (not yellow), and they are bright but not bro-annoyingly overbright. Source: I installed a set.

    Philips X-treme Ultinon Amber LED - T20/WY21W, 180 lumens

    Here's where I bought them: http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/wattsu/item/12763x2/

EDIT: just realized it looks like you have an SR5. Sorry, these bulbs are for the TRD models with the LED DRL. These bulbs do not double as a DRL for the SR5 trims.

I have TRD Pro these should plug right in and no hyperflashing? did you do any LED upgrade to the rear turn signals?

As far as I know, yes, they should. They plugged right in for me on my TRD OR, and did not hyperflash. I may have had to flip/reverse one of the bulbs in the turn signal socket to get it to work, but that was a simple change. They still work great and look better than stock by far. Not cheap, but I like them.

I did not do a rear turn signal upgrade yet. I used Philips Vision 7443 LED (red) in the rear, and they *did* hyperflash when used as turn signals. I didn't want to mess with resistors yet so I use them instetad in the lower rear parkinglight/brake bulb section. I thought it was more beneficial to have the "instant on" of LED brake lights instead of the nicety of LED blinking in the rear for now.

Thanks, I just looked up that part number in Amazon and they're decently priced.

Got the Phillips LED in today install was pretty easy, just had to flip the polarity around so that the brake light would work in addition to the parking. Highly recommended these, I may get another pair with some resistors in the future to do the rear turn signals.

    Thanks for the tip!

Did you get the front Philips amber signals as well?
