Ah I see, I'm sure they had the e-brake on, and they didnt have A-trac on either which made it harder for them to climb

That's hilarious, would anyone on this site allow these test icicles to drive their truck off road? These guys should be embarrassed but instead they take themselves seriously which makes the whole thing kind of a comedy routine. It's a good thing that they didn't have a breakdown or get stuck because they'd need a helicopter and a full rescue squad to get them. Too funny.

Haha well i just rewatched the video. When they stop the truck around 3:55 i think what happened was roman put the e brake on. Then once he activated the crawl control to go, he forgot to disengage the e brake.

It seems like they took the video down to edit the noises that the truck made from him leaving the e brake on, because it is silent now.

I'm aware that it is normal for the truck to make a noise from using crawl control especially on lower speed setting but this sounded different. Sounded more like sqealing noise.

Oh, they would probably have the raptor come out of no where to pull them out. Seems like they can't make 1 video without mentioning the raptor.

tlf test drove the raptor up ch2 and got stuck in same spot, they had to make another run and that's with actual OR tires, vs the DOE pavement burners imposed on the pro. 95% is the driver in any case, not the truck. tfl mentioned the raptor sides got pretty scratched up by branches due to it's biggie size.

These guys suck at off-roading. They got the 4Runner(Trail or TRD can't remember) stuck on the 2.0. You can obviously tell they weren't using a locker and didn't have the tires aired down. They had the Raptor winch it out.

Even with those noodles driving it and with highway tires with full air the Pro made them look ok. It's only the inane comments that give them away as complete dipsticks. I was impressed with the crawl control, which is a feature I've never used one but it reminds me of the hand throttles that used to come on some old timey trucks.

I wonder who finances this series and how they get someone to give them a new truck for a test? Surely someone must realize that these guys are just goofing around and haven't a clue.

I had my pro on a pretty muddy/rocky logging road yesterday going up and down the side of a mountain and it was fine, didn't touch the tires (stock). Cliffhanger looks more sandy vs the mud I was hitting and a bit steeper.

That banging noise of CC isn't the engine, is the brake actuator. It's very loud when using 1, or 2 mph settings.
Toyota is getting a terrific deal on the Wranglers from GoodYear. They are accountable to their stock holders, not owners
Auto 3rd gens don't have ATRAC. Although, MTS would have been much better to use than CC in this case, but CC is the new item and you can't really watch MTS work like you can CC on a gimmicky TFL video

My apologies I assumed they did. I only looked at manual transmission trims.

Does anybody know if this is a public trail and if so where it is? It doesn't look that bad but trails on camera never do. I have always wanted to try it myself so I know just how hard it really is.
