93 2WD 4cyl. 2.4l 2 door extended cab pup
94 4WD 6cyl. 3l 2 door pup
2012 4WD RAV4 (Base) 4cyl. 4 door 2.5l tow cap 1500lbs

Popup camper - 1375lbs hence the need for,
2017 V6 SR(Enhanced) has tow package! can tow 6400 lbs! I know a bit overkill but it does leave room for heavier campers or a good row boat

All this and you cannot even check the transmission fluid?!?! Toyota really has confidence...WTH!

Any way, my question is, my son has the Tundra that has slots for 2x6's, the 2017 has shelves in the bed sides. Dealer stated that this is so you can carry sheet rock! Any rockers out there or do many of us even do that?

"D" rings and a net, seems there has to be a better way to hold stuff in place.

I installed "D" rings in the front of my bed and a motorcycle tie down bar which has also been very helpful. Also have the cargo net and find it very useful.

 

Cab end D rings would have been nice, only 2 at rear. They did provide top permanent attachments at the front along with attachable rail rings. Mid point would have been nice for say a cooler. Guess not enough of us use them..plus the engineers may not get out much.

As far as spring suspension goes, I will have to get back to you, all new and I cannot find any specs.
