I've got an 09 Tacoma TRD 4x4 with an ARB camper shell. My truck is stock height and suspension with BFGoodrich All-Terrain 265/75s. I'm considering getting heavier duty leaf springs to help while pulling a light pop up camper. The back and front of my truck are pretty level, and the stock springs have settled like every other stock Tacoma. I want to stay at stock height, but most leaf packs I've found add several inches height. Would a leaf pack that adds that much height look strange at stock front height? Would the height settle some over time? Does the rear end of a new Tacoma sit a couple inches higher than the front? I really don't have time to do any modifications such as adding additional Chevy leaf springs at home so I'll be looking to purchase a complete set and get them installed at a nearby shop. Any help is appreciated.

Following. We just added a Leer shell to stock '07 AC. Back end seems to be sagging with the additional weight.

Going to be building a homemade bed slider and possibly towing a very small travel trailer or boat...not much w/ a 4 banger...

Looking for advice on how to level out vehicle / rear suspension. Just started reading through posts for about the past couple hours...

Hey Austin, you might be better off to just add a leaf to your stock pack to give extra support, so that it doesn't lift too much. You're right, most aftermarket springs will lift it up, and yes, it will look super funny if the rear is too high.

If you are looking for a full leaf pack, we work with Deaver and they can custom arch them to how you want it.

If you have a camper shell, I would actually recommend going 1" higher than stock.

PM me if you are interested!
