Looking for an aftermarket skid plate to go over the stock one on my 2017 SR5. I don't need anything heavy duty, but I don't want something cheap that will come right off. Any suggestions?

What does your stock version look like?

If it's silver, sell it for $140 and use that towards a replacement.

    10-4.

Not sure who has the cheapest decent skids, but I'm sure someone will come along and suggest their favorite.

There's currently a RCI Off-Road group buy going on for armor. Just FYI

Get in on the group buy for the RCI front skid. Haven't looked in to prices lately for skids but 15% off is 15% off

Edit: @VangaSTL beat me to it

$250 for a quality skid is probably going to be the best deal around, unless you can find a good used one for sale.

Nice. Did you go raw metal or powder coat? I'm torn because I like the look of the raw metal one, but being all blacked out looks killer too.

If you plan to go bare metal pay extra for Aluminum. Otherwise it won't stay metal looking for very long!!

If you plan for maximum protection, go steel and get it painted/powder coated.

EDIT: Oops I was 3 min too late. LOL
