You and me both! I decided not to throw them on right away because I want to lift and get 285/75/16's on instead of 265/75/16

    1. Finished up installing the sliders. I had to drill 6 holes into the frame to make it completely off road worthy. I also had to relocate the fuel pump control box which was a bigger pain then it looked like it was going to be. Part of that was my fault as I over tightened a bolt and broke it so I had to engineer something else. Anyways, got it done and now those are ready to go.

    2. Installed CB radio and antenna. This was super simple aside from my battle with the firewall. Took some blood, sweat, and tears but it eventually went. I just have to get it all tuned up and I should be ready to go.

I hit up the range this weekend. Did pretty well with the shotguns and rifles...my pistol needs some work. Until next time.

Looking good! Is that the 3ft Firestik? I had that on mine and swapped to a 2ft. Still got the 2 just in case.

I can't wait to get them on! They are sitting in my living room collecting dust.
I'm waiting to do a lift so I can put some 33s on. Hopefully I'll be able to by the end of October.

IMG_8246.jpg Finished up my CB install this morning. Used industrial strength Velcro - might upgrade in a few months but haven't decided yet.

Edit: First round of velcro with adhesive didn't hold - upgraded to Velcro Extreme Outdoor. Let's see if this holds better.

Nice. I have my external speaker mounted like that but on the drivers side with some industrial double sided tape. It came off one day when we had some 100+ degree heat here in California but stuck back on and hasn't come off since.

It's been pretty hot here so we'll see how it holds up the next few days.

Put the truck to good use today - used it to haul my new kayak (won it in a raffle last night!) to Gulf Islands for a little paddling.
Decided to have a little photo shoot while I was at it.
