just had my seat modifyed had the seat bottom shoulder cut off {lowerd } and foam added to rear back rest , Much more comforable

 

Had more foam added to the seat bottom and seat back also under a full leather Katzkin. Sorry I could not get the photo to rotate properly.

 

Hello I have been given a 2015 Toyota Tacoma extra cab to be used as a company vehicle and the seats are horrible
my job expects me to drive long distance in this truck. so i need to know does anyone have any idea of a different better seat i can install
i dont own this truck so dont need recaros or anything....i was hoping to go to the junk yard and pick up a drivers seat from something better
like a Lexus or a Camry ? does anyone know what fits ? any help would be appreciated..thank you

 

The center console limits you from having anything from any other vehicles put in most cases

My suggestion is looking into a PRP daily driver seat and mounting that in there
It takes a little work but it's like a lazy boy in your truck

 

similar generation 4runner seats should fit. but many of those are power, so you'll need to run power to them. if you're pulling the donor from a pick-n-pull cut off the vehicle side harness plug with as much wire as you can get, so you can splice that to power wiring so your 4R seat will just plug in. also needs wiring for seat belt sensor, thats probably compatible wtih the Taco's harness connector, or you might even be able to move the Taco's seat belt buckle to the 4R seat if they differ in any way.

re seats, my wife uses a lumbar cushion and a gel pad, and says that does her just fine.
