I searched and have seen where several have asked this with no answer. I've looked eslewhere and can't find confirmation one way or the other if it will work. I see the pelfreybilt one will work, but I dont off-road and like the looks of the 2nd Gen with the TRD stamped on it.

Any info on this is greatly appreciated.

Just saw a third gen stock skid for sale and it looked a lot different than my skids, so I was wondering myself.

It does fit but needs spacers and longer bolt and it doesn't look as good I did it and it doesn't flow with the 3rd gen bumper

Your right, I put both the 2nd gen trd OR tranny and front skid on my 3rd gen and I love the way it looks, thinking of line x or powder coating it black for my mgm sport

Here ya go...The 4 bolts align perfectly. Maybe too close to the plastic bumper for some.

Soooo, does this mean the 3rd Gen TRD skid will bolt onto a 2nd Gen?

    Anyone try it,

If you look at the PDF for the 3rd Gen the front section uses the exact same bolts as the 2nd but the extended portion I don’t know. I need to go crawl under the truck and take a closer look.
