Seems like any type of "sporting equipment" $500 golf clubs, $75 arrows, $400 baseball bats. I travel longer distances to fish, the Yeti as been a huge asset!

    I wanted an MT.
I have a yeti 50, I got it with safety points from work... I would NEVER NEVER NEVER buy one... It simply does not work as advertised... Nice durable cooler... But it is not worth what you would pay for it.

I don't know if anyone knows this or not.

But Buccees now carries RTIC stuff, they had a shit ton of the cups, lids, and more at their store in Terrell. I asked about coolers when I was there two weeks ago and they said they will have coolers in the store in about a month or two months. Hopefully I can get up there and buy one when they get them in the store.

I ordered an RTIC 45 last night with basket. The wife and I needed a cooler that could help,us keep food cold for about 4-5 days out on the beach camping or in the woods where no ice to be found. Lol...

Maybe if we get the chance in coming years to explore more of the eastern part of the US we might go electrical fridge. However for now I hope my 175.00 YETI competitor is able to do what I ask of it. I think it will.

Got an email this morning the basket is shipping and an estimated ship date of Oct 13th for the cooler. That's not to bad for me. I love the price and have some family members in Texas that absolutely swear by the RTIC coolers if you want/need something rotomolded. You can't beat the price, just half to wait a bit.

It'll see more duty as the transport cooler to and from SAMs I think and then secondary duty as camping/trip cooler duty.

Went ahead with white as it will end up out in the sun so I figured it would help, and who knows maybe a sticker or two or three will end up on it.

If you are in Texas and close to a Bucc-ees. They are now a primary distributor for RTIC stuff. They no longer even have Yeti in the store. They had a good 10 of the 45qt, aboud 15 of the 20qt, but no 65qt yet, at least not at the Terrell one. They will also be having the soft coolers soon as well.

Did not have any of the accessories yet as far as baskets or dividers, but I ended up making a divider out of an $8.00 Poly Cutting Board from Big Lots that I cut to fit the cooler.

Since note though. They are going to start carrying them on Amazon as well with Prime shipping. I guess they finally got their distribution down enough to be able to do Amazon!

I wish I was in Texas. I ordered a 65 from RTIC. I wasHed it out tightened the drain plug as tight as I could by hand. I loaded it up went hunting and put in in my back seat for two days. Came back to the truck and it leaked all over my new 4 month old Tacoma!!! Opened the drain plug to see this! They shipped it to me like this. When I called and told them they said that they don't see the coolers before they ship them. Them come from China in boxes then get shipped to customers. So I returned it and bought a yeti 105. Never buying imitation products again.image.jpg

Mine has been nothing but awesome for me. Took it for a camping trip this weekend and didn't have any issues or anything with it.

Not to bash on you but if it was as bad as you said to get in or out wouldn't you have noticed an issue here ^

Love my RTIC 45, only used it 3 times so far but keeps ice all weekend and is stout as expected.

No because I didn't pull it out I just screwed it in to make sure it was tight. I dumped the water I washed it with out of the top. Really not bashing RTIC coolers I got it and you could tell it was well built and I can tell it was just as good as a yeti. I'm just butt hurt it leaked all over my truck and I'm a stubborn sob, so I bought a yeti instead. Checked the drain hole on the yeti in the store before I bought it. I probably would have excepted a replacement cooler from RTIC if I didn't wait 4 weeks for the first one and then wait another 4 for the replacement.

I just received 2 tan RTICs one 20 and a 65, they look pretty good so far, only complaint is my OCD kicking in because the coloration is different.

*check your drain plugs before you throw them on your back seat.

Also make sure you actually put your drain plug back in before you fill with with ice and beer for a Halloween party and then wonder why the floor is wet around your cooler and have to drive back to your house to get your drain plug for it.....

I wish they had a way I could thread some paracord through the drain plug so I could tie to the cooler...

My RTIC 45 kept my food cold for a 3 day trip on the Mojave Road this past weekend. Only used about 8 frozen water bottles. Kept all my bacon, eggs, and fried rice fresh until I unpacked whatever was leftover Monday evening. Packed it up Thursday evening. The IndelB fridge was strictly for the beers :D

You think Yeti is any different? Doubtful. I won a Yeti in a raffle and the drain plug went in at an angle and wouldn't seal. Granted they replaced it, but RTIC would do the same.

I had to take channel locks to my igloo sportsman drain plug in order to get it tightened enough to seal. For some reason by hand it'd get stuck. No more leaks though, lol

So far this year my yetis have been as far west as CO for a week in the mountains, as far east as GA for a week of shark fishing, and have spent multiple days in the Midwest on the river catfishing, at the stadium tailgating, brining meat, resting brisket/ribs/pulled pork, acting as step stools, casting platforms and camp seating. I plan to fill them with venison quarters in the next couple weeks. They work well, are insanely durable and are one less piece of equipment I have to worry about failing.

There is one downside. They have to stay locked to something. A security cable goes with my yetis all the time so I don't have to worry about them crawling out of the truck bed or off the deck of the boat. Other than that, zero complaints so far.
