Another Off Road bites the dust

It has been confirmed. My wife works with this poor guy. Good news, he was not hurt, except for ego. He is not a kid where daddy will buy him a new one. He did something dumb and is going to have to deal with it.

I kind of feel like crap as my wife showed this to her boss to verify it was the guys truck, and now the news is all over the shop. I guess people are giving him crap about it now.

 

I was thinking this was the "Dune Duck" rollover. The one where he was high speed snap chatting.

 

It'd have come out anyway. And perhaps the shame will make someone else think before doing something dumb that could kill a passenger or innocent bystander...

 

You posted this first yesterday. Then the OP of this thread, stuck it in another thread, then later created this thread, with the added pics. Obviously he wants the attention and notoriety. We all know you were the one to first throw it up though.

 

I actually posted the pics to my Facebook group before I posted here. This OP is a member of said group. He then took the pics and reposted it here again

That's life. Maybe he will learn from it. I've done stupid stuff growing up that taught me life lessons

 

I agree. Life lesson here for sure. We have all, at least I have, done crap in the past that I learned from. Fortunately the one life almost lost was my own, but I did learn. I am sure he will too.

 

Yeah, I have done most of my off road trips in 2wd, but it still baffles me that someone would actually NOT want 4x4 in an off road vehicle. I can see a 2wd pavement princess, but for off road, I'd want 4x4 just in case. Not that it would have helped him here... he is just an idiot.

I wrecked a truck pulling a bobcat tractor, and the Geico adjuster on the phone asked me 3 times, "are you SURE no one rear-ended the trailer and drove off, causing the wreck?". My dumbass, was like, how many times do I have to tell you, it was all my fault.

Yep. It's amazing how cheaply people sell off their integrity, one of the few things they have that can't be forcibly taken.
