Keep in mind some of that data is very outdated, trails change year to year and it's been some time since that website has been updated.

Trailsoffroad.com is new and much more recent detail and most reports have videos too.

New trails I try to find as much info as I can before hand.

Does Trails Offroad have GPX files? Just curious since I will be installing the HEMA App on a new tablet this week.

Trailsoffroad.com is a great looking site, with detailed trip reports and great images. That will be my new go to site for sure!!

That's incorrect. Their last trail runs/updates are from September of this year. It's certainly a valid point that some or even many of the trail reports/descriptions are dated, and you do have to pay attention to how current the information you're looking at is. They don't necessarily revisit the same trails on any kind of regular basis. Trailsoffroad seems to be committed to doing that, maintaining current status on lots of trails. They're also much more modern of a website and I like they way they do some things much more than the older systems TD is using (in particular things like geographic order of pictures rather than alphabetical by filename), but there's a lot of... similarities between the two. Both are good resources, and I'd probably see what each has to say if researching a new trail.

Did Hermit pass a couple of weekends ago. Very little snow and great weather. Trees were alright too.

Accidentally posted in the Upcoming Events Thread...

Some iphone photos from our trip to White Rim this weekend. Need to pull everything from multiple cameras in order to do a proper write-up in my build thread (hoping to get that done in the next couple days).

    Anyway, here ya go:

They had about a 15 minute head start. My guess is we both filled up in Junction with food and fuel. I flew past them just entering the canyon after Grand Junction. V8 Powa baby

    I exaggerated a little, more like 12:30.
