    F150, Ram 1500 and Tacoma?

That's like comparing an apple, an orange, and a banana and asking which rolls better than the others.

    All wrong.

AM General M-923/925/XM-813 was the best off road truck.

    The trusty 5-ton.

85K489 was my truck. She was a BEAST!!

I miss her. *sniff* So much.

She loved her some diesel fuel. Put it away like I suck down coffee. Oil changes sucked - 7 friggin' GALLONS of 30W every 3000 miles.

I once had her up to about 4K in the bed and 20K on the pintle, and she hauled it like a champ.

She hated the cold, though. She didn't have a starter block, so turning her over in winter was not fun.

She retired in the mid-2000s after we moved the unit to Arizona. I hope she's since found a good home.

I watched that video, but kept visualizing Larry, Curly, and Moe. Nyuk nyuk nyuk. Their review would have been just as valuable.

Gotta respect FWD too man. They were like the first ones to make big, offroad all wheel drive trucks. Course I think they went out of business in the 70s...

No wonder. FWD making AWD trucks? I mean, thats like cats and dogs living together. Don't cross the streams.

Consider the marketing challenges... "New, the AWD FWD truck!"
    Customers: "waat?"

Hahaha, yea, I guess I got that wrong. AWD and an old school manual Four Wheel Drive transfer case are very different things

FWD != AWD. My bad :) FWD is Fred Flinstone era. AWD is George Jefferson Era

Not to mention that FWD is often referencing Front Wheel Drive... :)
