Saw some previous threads like this but was hoping that someone might have information that could help me out.

    1995 Taco V6 Manual- 255K

Engine turns over, but it wont start. I have verified the following:

    - EFI Relay is functioning properly
    - Circuit Opening Relay is functioning properly
    - Fuel pump is functioning (not fuel to engine though)
    - New Fuel Filter
    - New Starter
    - Battery Level is Good
    - Fuses are Good

When i put the key in and turn to the On position, i can see the Circuit Opening Relay click on, the EFI relay click on and the Check Engine Light come on. A lot of the threads I have seen mention the CEL light not coming on and offer advice on how to troubleshoot that specific situation.

I also tried cranking the engine with the high beams on, and they do dim.

I clean out the intake and it started momentarily on the cleaner. Not sure why it is not getting gas.

Only obdii codes are from the MAF because i tried starting when it was disconnected.

Since obdii works does this rule out a bad ecu?

Sounds like maybe the injectors aren't firing. Maybe take a spark plug out after cranking it to see if the cylinders are wet with gas.

Possibly a very weak spark and somehow the cleaner had an easier time igniting.

ECUs are pretty reliable on Toyotas, so you're better off checking other things first.

Hey guys. I too am having similar issues.

Checked efi and open relay both make clicking sound when swapped at the fuse box.

What fuses are there to check?

Also getting 12 v to pump, and pump works when connected straight from battery.

No fuel is primed tho. Checked by cracking fuel filter to pump and cranking.
