Need to get new tires. I currently sit on 285x70x17. I'm thinking of getting BFG KO2's. I need to go smaller because my 285's rub a little bit. Thinking of getting new wheels so I can go 265x75x16. I am really feeling Bronze. I like the Level8 MK6. I just don't know how it would like on my white 1st gen. all the pics on here seem to be the 2nd and 3rd Gens. Look Great! just now sure on a white 1st gen.
Here is how my truck sits now.
    Thoughts?

You're not alone. I've had my truck for about a year now, and I still haven't upgraded the suspension. Instead, I got my 4x4 working and did a hell of a lot of maintenance. Looking to lift it next year though.

    Any specific plans?

I really like a wide tire though. That's why I figured 265x75 takes in from 11.2" width to a 10.4"; since right now I am barely rubbing and only when I turn the wheel all the way. I could just do 275x70x17, but then I don't have a good reason to buy bronze wheels haha.

Bought a set of F5's from @SCSPerformance today. I highly recommend anyone interested in buying wheels to support Vin. Excellent customer service + high quality product =

I've seen their name around Tacoma world a lot today. I pulled up their Website but it seems to be down right now. From what i can see i really like their Bronze color. Nice and dark. Just curious how they'd look on a White 1st gen.

The dark bronze on white i think looks the best. SCS's bronze is unique to their line, and I personally think its the best looking bronze wheel on the market. Message @SCSPerformance directly to see what he has in stock, and/or get on his waiting list for his next shipment (ETA 2-3 weeks).

Greased the u-joints today. And man they needed it. The old grease was jet black.

Yeah when I did mine a few months ago, it was black and much thicker than it should be. It was clear it'd never been done.

This was the original grease from the factory, no doubt. The u's are running quiet now. Grease has come along way since 2002.

I bought a HF one as well. Never used a grease gun prior, but I am going to assume it's always difficult to fit them to zerks. It take a bit of force to get it on. And getting it off is even worse.

I wouldn't use that word. It's certainly possible. I got it on all what? 8 or 9 zerk fittings?

That's the spirit! Give it another go. And make sure you're cleaning off each zerk fitting before trying to attach the gun.

I did the same thing. I picked up one at Wally world this morning, it came with a flexible hose & solid (take a 13mm & 14 and tighten each part up). It seemed to work good, about $14-15. I tell you what, my son squeezed the gun while I held er tight on the zerk. That rascal had to be lined up jus right...some could only be greased from the top side of the drive-shaft. He dern near bent the trigger on a couple zerks, the old grease was give out & hardened. All I can say is get em greased asap.
