How long before someone figures out if these are pre-wired for keyless entry and how to program the fob? :waiting:

I don't think I've ran across a thread on how to install the OEM keyless entry on utility package trucks. I think you're better off going aftermarket for keyless entry and remote start feature.

I'm sure it's possible, because if you start driving with the doors unlocked both doors lock automatically. Hopefully it will be easy once somebody figures it out.

This was my thought as well. I want to think it's possible. I got a quote for aftermarket stuff but I don't like the thought of aftermarket keyless entry unless I have to.

If you're pre wired for keyless, you'll have a receiver eye on the passenger side tweeter grill in the dash. Pip the grill up and see if the eye is wired. if not, you don't have keyless.

Not to derail the thread but is it only the utility package that deletes the keyless entry?

I almost went with an SR except I wanted the in-dash screen/display. Since you have both, how is it driving without that?

Hm. I have the utility package. Based on the post below this that would mean I don't have keyless pre wired.

I'm on travel. I'll check for the receiver eye and wires this weekend. I'll probably have more questions when I look. Anyone have a pic showing the exact location?

You can't miss it. It's part of the tweeter panel on the PS of the dash. Aftermarket keyless is easy enough to install and cheaper than buying keys with the remotes built in.

I've got the eye, but I didn't have something flat to pry up the panel to see if there are any wires attached to it.

Nice. With that color you can't even tell the bumper isn't painted
