Before replacing the whole battery why not see if you can get it to hold another charge. Ironically my battery is starting to hit the fan too lol

I have a story to tell. Got off of work today, did some last minute bill payments and then headed over to the AM/PM gas station on Goldenwest and Heil for their "cheeseburgers", LMAO!!! LMAO!!! Anyways, I park the truck, I start walking towards the front door and meet this homeless guy with a flat rear tire on his bicycle. We talk a bit, I go in to hopefully get my cheeseburgers, walk back out, and gave the guy $2. About all I had on me and needed whatever left I had for my own lunch tomorrow. Anyways, I just could NOT leave him stranded like that, so I offer to either a) take him to Performance Bike (i.e. Sur* Ci** C*clr* in HB... you locals know which one I'm talking about, is a F'N RIPOFF that ONLY caters to the RICH AND UNGODLY RICH) or b) I go get my bike patch kit and pump and come back. I had a few more things to do myself and told him to sit tight as it wouldn't take too long, but I WOULD be right back!!! Did my thing, got what I needed, drove back, and there he was still. He couldn't believe I came back???!!! I told him to sit back and relax as I would TRY to fix his bike. THEN another person came up and introduced himself and thought we would need assistance as he was a rider himself. My patch held, but when it was put back inside the rim, it must have broken loose? I let it dry a good while, aired it up (outside the tire mind you as I was still assessing the repair job), and it was holding air very well. No other leaks were seen as water was poured over my patch and everywhere else and all seemed good... but, again, did not hold in the end. SO, the bike rider (new to California as he moved here from back east) and I decided to go to Performance as I kept pressing to the homeless guy that I would buy him a new inner tube. He kept insisting that he couldn't repay me and I told him, I already gave you $2??? He goes, I'll give it back to you, then I said, let me rephrase, I WILL buy you a NEW tire, LOL!!! Forget about the $2?! Anyways, we put his bike in the back of my truck, go to Performance, explain to them that we're trying to basically rescue a stranded individual, they fix it with a new inner tube, he only charged FOR the inner tube and all he requested was that instead of the labor cost if we didn't mind at least $3 going to womens breast cancer? So the avid cyclist tells the cashier/worker to go ahead and do $6. The Performance Bike employee gives us the pink bracelets. We say thank you and head back to the homeless man. He is obviously still there, give him the bike, have him test ride it before we leave, and we even had the bike shop remove some filthy "broken" gel seat cover that the homeless guy was having hard time removing. But anyways, the homeless guy broke down into tears!!! The only thing we had him try to do for us was to lay off of the beer and/or drugs for at least 3x days. Try to do that for us as far a "payment back" to us. He couldn't honestly keep the promise, but he did say that he would do his best because that was the least he could do and he was being totally honest about it. He was still in tears bros!!! Here is a pic of the pink breast cancer awareness bracelet that was given to us at Performance. I kept names out of this post as to keep it as confidential as possible for the people involved (i.e. the homeless guy and the avid cyclist). So now, got my cheeseburgers and celebrating for a good number of causes!!!

Funny enough I helped a homeless guy today too, although no where near as much as you did. Story is he somehow managed to get dropped off at beach and Adams on the bus and was informed he could walk to his next bus stop WAY over by Knott's berry farm. I gave him some cash for a bus ticket to get home & we talked for a little while about my muddy truck and his friend that races in the Baja 1000.

Took a day trip up to the western entrance to Death Valley. There is a place called Father Crowley Vista to stop at on HWY 190 that looks down into a canyon known as Star Wars Canyon. Pretty nice place to get pics and enjoy the views. Thought I'd share a few.

Oh ya....if you hang out long enough you may get a chance for a pic of a few of these also.....

And when you are done with low level 500mph aircraft whizzing by below you, you can head south and do more 'merica shit in the Dez!!!
