It was my first attempt so we'll see. If it doesn't work I'll just build another one stronger :muscleflexing:

Better to ask what I have not done.
IF it happens to become a problem just get two more pieces of angle like you have and back it against the current angle piece bedside in place of the bracket so that they make an upside down T and then bolt that down to the bed or just bolt that current piece down on the inside if there is bed underneath it

edit: it looks like you have a ship under the bed side of the frame, is that true or am i seeing things?

Hope it'll hold up. Also have bolts on the back side through the bed to hold it down and flush the side angled pieces are mainly to keep it in place and have play in it

You know I will have cable in the TV soon in the garage. I guess sleeping there wouldn't be half bad.

Have WiFi, thinking of pulling cable and Natural Gas. Have not decided on heat yet, between pellet stove or natural gas heater.

How are you planning on attaching the fridge?

When I mounted mine to my drawer, I bolted it to the drawer bottom using longer bolts through the "feet" of the fridge. I thought that would be cleaner than using straps.

I have a Pelican as well and love it. My boyfriend and I recently took a week-long trip out to Big Bend National Park, and we kept our beer, water and lunch meat in there. It all stayed cold through the trip. We changed the ice once just so we could have fresh ice in there. The big bonus is the bottle opener near the lid. My boyfriend's only gripe is that the lid works a little too well, and sometimes you have to put some muscle into it to get it open. He tied a rope through the top half of the lock hasp. All that doesn't really bother me; at least I know it's keeping out warm air.
