My owners manual sits on a shelf at home.

If I need to look something up while out and about I use the PDF version on my phone or tablet.

its just the person that posted the $6 charge just worded it incorrectly.

If you look on some printouts, Toyota doesn't charge the regional anything for the DK option but some regionals I have seen charge a flat $6 for it. that's why I added that reply to your post. heck even my 2014 4runner paperwork shows a $6 charge to the Kansas city regional to the dealership.

Which is fine, but about the time the sales guy starts talking 6 dollar fee for a freaking owners manual, I am headed to the door.

    Paid $34,706
    MSRP $35,409

Picked up my '17 Sport 4x4 Inferno w/ org/blk int, AC, MT, tech, tow, no other accessories for $34,706 + tax and license fees from Greg at Toyota Lompoc (central coast California).

I ordered it at the end of June and we picked it up 10/21. I am not exaggerating when I say I called almost every dealer in Southern California looking for some type of discount, they were the only ones. Other dealers would say "4x4? 10% above MSRP". According to the dealer and my research the my specific truck is rare, especially on the West Coast, they finally had to trade a dealer in Jersey to get it.

lol if I did that with every clueless salesperson, I would never get a Toyota due to walking out all the time. I just let them blabber and worry about the numbers when I sit with the F&I person. that what gets me to walking.

I am at ~$3k off MSRP right now with an 11/14 build date on a 7545 with tech/tow/mats. My ~$3k off MSRP includes all fees (dest, doc, etc etc) except tax. There are no other accessories/treatments/addons, no trade, not financed with them. Easy deal, nice people, no shenanigans.

Village Pointe Toyota in Omaha, NE. Ask for Rusty (salesman) or Corinna (internet/new car manager). Tell them Jon from Nevada referred you.

Just closed the deal on a 2017 TRD Off Road, white, with graphite interior /gun metal stitching, with the towing package, shopped several dealerships, MSRP was $36,295. Total OTD $37,000 even, which includes all fees, 6% Michigan sales tax , title fees, $181 plate fees, as I see it was about $1400 off MSRP. TRD Off Roads hard to find here, had to drive 300 miles round trip to find one to test drive. Thinking I got an OK deal.... have owned (4) GMC trucks, just took the Tacoma plunge here.... new member on this forum as of today!

My point is that if you don't list the MSRP, it is difficult to determine how good the deal is.

I am also shopping for an SR5, all the talk about invoice in these "prices paid" threads reminded me of an article about "invoice prices". It is helpful to see what people are paying, but its important to realize what an invoice price really is. The article is from Clark Howard's site.
    http://www.clark.com/beat-the-pricing-from-online-c

I've now had 3 dealers give me a price of 500 over invoice, each one was different, all over 30k for a msrp of 31k.

I would say you made a very good deal!! Congrats. $2500 off MSRP is about as good as it gets. Hope I can get that when I am ready to buy.
