This thing is way too expensive but I love the idea of having the crossbars removable or being able to move it forwar to allow for the use of the bed

Me too. I think it could look a lot cleaner too. When I was planning on building a rack I was going to have the crossbar closest to the cab be permanent to give it some rigidity when the other top crossbars were removed. That would keep the rack from having down legs into the bed like the one you've referenced, and keep it compatible with a Softopper.

I don't have the tools to do it right from scratch and am not willing to spend the extra coin right now. I could do the welding, but I'd still wind up paying someone else more for the custom fab of all the puzzle pieces than I would by getting a product like the All-Pro Rack. Although... if I got the weld together kit from All-Pro I might be able to modify it to my needs perfectly.

Hey guys! For us to do 20% off, we need at least 20 people. We have a bolt together rack available, but we haven't built it to go over the Soft topper, so I need to see if that is possible. We are having a 15% off sale right now, so if we don't have enough interest here, the sale is probably the best way to go. Here are a couple of pictures of our bolt together rack.

AWESOME! Thanks for the update @allpro

Could you let us know the list prices of the rack options so the guys on the fence can commit? (Welded vs. weld yourself, etc.) Thank you!

05-17 Long Bed Pack Rack $799.00; 15% off is 679.15

The welded rack must be shipped freight. It is least expensive to ship to a business with a forklift.
The DIY kit can be shipped UPS. If we can get a group buy on the DIY kit, we can do flat rate shipping of $70.00 for the kit, Long bed or short bed.

Our lead time for a group buy will be 3-4 weeks after the orders are placed.

If we get 20 people, we can do 20% off.

Let me know how we can help!!

    You're my hero Tracy lol

Please keep us updated on the possibility of a bolt-together version of the softopper rack. I think that will be a HUGE hit with these guys.

We still haven't heard if the rack is compatible with the Bestop. I think it may not work since the Bestop is taller than the softopper... you may have to utilize the Bestop rack made by SOS Offroad Concepts
