Hey everyone, new to this thread. Got a few q's. Which is better, the thrush welded exhaust at o'reilly or cherry bomb dual chamber from autozone? They look the same. Also, what offsets do I need to fit this on the original pipe on inlet and outlet? Last, what did you guys do for a replacement hanger set up or is it not needed? Pics would be cool.

I have not heard a Cherry Bomb, but I cannot imagine it being too different since both are dual chambers... Thrush was the right price (~$25) and heard from a lot of people it sounded good. I'm glad I listened because I love the sound. Can hear the the RPM's and shift a lot better now.
Some people said to get center in/center out, but I think the center in/offset out worked out even better considering where you have to cut the stock pipe. And I got the universal hanger set-up from Autozone when picking up the muffler, and I have not had a problem since.

Is the original piping 2.25" i.d.? I want to use the original pipes on inlet and outlet, and I want to clamp the muffler+extension pipes to the original pipes (easier to replace). So basically I will need adapters that will slide straight onto the oem pipes. Any ideas on sizes?
    The muffler I want to get has a 2.25" I.D. inlet, 2.25" O.D. outlet.

Yes, 2.25" is the correct size so that you can run stock piping.
Don't quote me on exact size, but with the Thrush Welded muffler, I believe I had to cut an 8" extension pipe to make it match stock positioning. (Just to give you can idea on what else to look at when purchasing your muffler.)

The fucks with the price on a borla exhaust.

Since I can't get my hands on a TRD exhaust what's the best performance-wise exhaust for a supercharged 3.4? When it comes to sound I don't want something annoyingly loud.

To me, the best sounding exhaust is a quiet exhaust!!!!!

Do the thrush mufflers hold up pretty good, my friend offered me a Borla but I'm not sure if ill like the sound... I want to be loud when i need it to be with no highway drone...

Today I experimented with a straight pipe because why not and it seemed ok, Not as ricey as i thought....

just looking for no H/W drone.... THX
