I'm running King ext coilovers w/AP ucas and AP expo leaf pack. My question is regarding the taco lean and how to properly counter that by slightly raising (coilovers) the DRIVER side of the truck. When you guys are doing this, are you at all concerned about the gas tank being full, empty or half? Obviously with a full tank of gas the lean will be much more severe. Looking for opinions. Thanks guys.

You raise drivers side not passenger.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
I would first do a measurement 1/2 tank if your suspension is brand new, let it settle, then adjust accordingly. 18 gallon tank at 6lbs per gallon at 1/2 a tank that is approximately 54lbs +/- additional weight if you fill up the tank, I'm sure you won't notice a huge lean if you filled the tank up.

Donahoe CO's, Deaver leaf paks, Lockright Locker, All Pro body armor ( sliders, front and rear bumpers ), All Pro under belly skids, Warn M8K w/Masterpull synthetic line, Dual Optima battery system, 4 ea LightForce Striker 170 offroad lights, 8 ea wired rock lights, and plenty more I'm sure
The Taco lean is most always due to the settling of the suspension.
Consumable suspension components are not for ever.

battery, fuel&tank, driver weights are the cause.
Well that ^ along with gravity and time.

Adj. CO's can be pre-loaded for compensation.

As well... the rear leaf spring can also be compensated
by having more arch put into the driver's side.

I had custom Deaver leaf spring made for mine.
and those have an additional 1/2" arch added to the driver's side.

This added leaf spring arch compensated very well...
and both my Fr adj. CO's are pre-loaded equally.

Another fix is... maybe try going on a diet ? Lol

My OME suspension came with a washer on the drivers side strut to combat this.

...You typed washer as a description.
But are you meaning: "a shim was placed in with the coil spring assembly"
to increase pre-load on the driver's side ?

Pretty sure he meant to say a spacer, I got the same 1/4" spacer with my kit and it looks like a giant washer lol.

a washer goes on a bolt

a spacer usually stacks atop the CO externally (bad move)

a shim is sandwiched inside along with the coil spring to increase coil pre-load.

all three have different purposes and do not share a common nomenclature.

where is that stated ? I don't see that reference used on the OME site.
trim packer sounds more like a boat or plane thing to me.

    It's called a "pre-load shim" by most

Purdy much the same deal as when some folks call a sunshade on there jeep's roll cage a...
"bikini top" when in originality it was referred to as a "bi-mini top".

probably forums like this one caused folk to start calling it something it wasn't originally labeled as.
