It's right at the limit. I would say its good. But it depends on "which" inspector you get. Some are strick. But like seoulja99 said. Just go! Good luck!

Yeah I think I'm gonna run them for the time I have left here, then see if I can get away with it. If not, I'll just take them off and put them back on after.

I'm visiting my brother here in the Kailua area and I'm impressed on the number of Tacoma's I've seen on the island in just the last couple of days

I definitely am enjoying my visit , been here since last Wednesday and leaving this coming Tuesday . I noticed there's not a lot of lifted big tire trucks here ??

Bought 1.25 spidertrax spacers to get me by till I move to Hawaii. Praying I can get by with the spacers, otherwise I might need some help taking them off before I go to get inspected. I won't have any of my tools by then.

I have the BHLM and the DRL bezel is painted black. Is that an automatic failure for safety checks?

How bad is the Hawaiin sun and salt on plastics and paints? Here in AZ, the sun destroys anything it touches. Trying to gauge how long these FleaBay headlights I just bought will last.

Both are pretty bad around here. You'll increase the frequency in which you wash your truck, not only for the salt air but for the small rain showers each day. Where are you looking at living? I think you asked about AMR?

Technically it is an automatic fail, since the lights were modified from their dot approved state. But it's such a flawed system, it basically boils down to whatever you can get away with.

And all you should need to remove your spacer should be under the back seat.

Also, it's the same sun shining here in HI! It will take its toll, though. Best thing to do is keep a constant barrier between the trucks surface and the environment. Whether it be be a wax, sealant, or whatever. Just keep it up and you'll be fine. I even wax all the plastic light housings. Plexus also works very well for plastics. Boaters use it as well as motorcyclists for windscreens and helmets.
