Actually I was thinking of them for my BIL's Ford Raptor. Rigid and Vision X makes kits but there is a generac bracket on Amazon and those light look pretty nice, especially for the price.

 

35W is beefy. I like where @DoubleRGirl mounted hers on the rear rail. I actually got a set of generic 18W for last Christmas with plans to do the same once I pulled the cap off, but obviously life happened. Since I've got the tonneau on the new one, I'm doing ditch lights with them. If I like them, I'll upgrade to a real set.

 

They do look nice but is 2500 lumens really that bright? I was looking into replacing my lights behind my grill and there seems to be some big discrepancies in lumens between even the same size lights. I was looking at 7 and 9 inch led's.

 

Stock 9003 / HB2 bulbs for the 2012-2015 Tacomas are rated at 1,590 lumen high beam / 980 lumen low beam.

I'd say that's quite the lumen boost.

 

Oh, wow I didn't realize that the headlights had that low of a luminous rating. I guess the LED's I've been looking at are brighter that I thought.

 

Plus it would be 2 sets! So 2500 lumens x 4 = 10,000 lumens

 

Daniel Stern Lighting is my point of reference for most lighting topics. It's where I learned all about why tinted bulbs are the devil.

My KCs on my rack were 100w H3s which was 2,300 each, plus I had the (2) IPF which were 2,100 each. So I can say with personal experience (13,400 lumens, plus the OEM lamps) that you will have no issues seeing what's going on in front of you!
