    Funny but I just had a similar experience last night. I'm in San Diego for work, got finished late and was very tired when I got back to the hotel, so room service. I did fair better than you though: NY Strip, a beer and cake = $71.00. I'm trying to figure out how to splain this to my boss when I expense it. Right now I'm thinking of the "if you average out every meal over the week it's really not that much" gambit.
