I recently broke the glass in my topper door and am trying to track down the manufacturer to order new glass. Unfortunately, the two topper places in Albuquerque can't identify it for me so I'm looking for help. The camper is on a 2004 Double Cab Tacoma and I have only these 3 identifiers.
    • On the locking panel stamped in white is "102804" which I assume is the manufacture date AND "511915" which one of the topper guys says are measurements... 51" wide, 19" tall and 15 degree curve in the glass

    • The side windows were made by Creation Windows and have these possible model #s "AS3M41" and "DOT243" on them.

    • A large white sticker on the ceiling reads 405820
Here are photos of my topper. Any ideas? I sort of think it's an ARE topper. Can anyone post photos of their older ARE door hinges and locking mechanism/panel?

Topper town or admiral camper didn't know? Strange.
Anywho. Do the side windows slide or do they pop out?

@WildLand Indeed, neither Toppertown or Admiral could identify the brand. I thought it was strange too and each place sent me to the other one... The windows pop out.

@WildLand and @windsor Here's a photo of what the door/glass looked like before I broke it.

Mine is a Leer 100xq, so it isn't the same model. But it may help figure out what other models use the same style. Here's what the hinges look like.

@windsor Are your hinges attached to an internal door frame that is then attached to the glass? Our hinges look very similar but mine attach directly to the glass.

They attach the same. Hinge bolts to the glass and the pivot is on a bar that is attached to the shell.

@windsor Any chance you can post a side view and a rear view with the door closed so I can compare?

After looking at the hinge width, I'm going to say that I think yours is the ARE Z series.

A.R.E. is saying it's not their camper... The dealer in Farmington who I called says it was made by "Innovation Campers" which of course is out of business.

What would you do if you needed new glass with a curve? Somewhere else on the internet said try Lexan but the folks in ABQ who I've called don't seem interested in fabricating anything.

The glass was curved? As in, concave or convex? or, as in one or more edges curved not straight??
If you have all the metal parts, try an auto glass shop, maybe?
If talking to Admiral, be certain you talk to Dave (0wner) if you haven't already, he has helped me and is very knowledgeable (and is usually very busy with paying customers!)
    Good luck with that!

Did a quick search on Google on "Camper Shell Window replacement" which suggested these additional search terms.
Looks like there are several outfits that replace camper shell windows, including many that sell all-new ones. The replacement people may be helpful identifying your camper.

    leer camper shell window replacement
    camper shell replacement windows
    camper shell replacement parts
    truck topper rear window frame
    truck cap windows and doors

that looks like a Century truck cap just like mine. Manufactured here in Elkhart, Indiana. There is a company that sells all the replacement parts and accessories for Century, Leer and a couple other manufacturers. Here's their website.
