Good man. That's a good option to have if someone needs it.

Finally! If you can make RC, you should come. I've been forc-...convinced into coming.

I'm off tonight. What kinda plans did you have in mind?

@sente3 you should grab some new diff seals and some gear oil. May as well change out the seals while we have the CVs out.

I already have a quart of gear oil on hand, can't imagine I will need more than that but correct me if I am wrong. Where do you recommend picking up seals? Would an auto store sell them, or should I head to a dealer?

Auto parts stores usually have them. National oil seals are a good brand. Second gens have a different seal for driver and passenger sides. I am unsure about first gens.

    One quart will cover it

Alright I'll take a look at the stores around me and I'll see what all they've got.

I just checked Amazon. They have genuine Toyota seals for your truck.

None... love her just the way she is.
Hi guys. I'm new to off roading and have been looking for somewhere to take my 2017 DC OR. It's bone stock so I'm not looking to go anywhere crazy.

I've spent some time in Collier's Mills and some access roads by some power lines but ended up in the back of Double trouble park. Some guy walking his baby warned me that the fine for driving back there was thousands of dollars... so I'm done doing scout runs in places I don't know.

Do you guys have any suggestions of legal and somewhat modest places to take my truck?

    Thanks for the help,
    Kenny

How hard is it to replace the rear diff pinion seal. I never made it to the shop.

I have not touched a Toyota rear in better than two decades. I need to do some research.

Not sure if there's a crush collar on the Toyota diffs. If there is, it's a bitch.

Their is. ECGS has an option for a solid spacer when you order from them.

Ah, then I probably wouldn't mess with it in a driveway. You can do more harm than good.
