Re-gapped my NGK Iridiums - LFR6AIX-11. Installed them at 60K and will replace at 160K with same. They were fine when I checked them around 100K. Today, I re-gapped from .050 to .043. Cleaned them up with a wire brush and sandpaper; truck running fine.

Yes, I was aware of that and actually why I bought them. I plan to use them more in the summertime and then use the Weathertech liners I have for the snow and salt season. It looks like these will cover the entire floor but still look nice and protect the carpet. But thanks for the heads up!

This may sound stupid but I have an Airflow Snorkel that's been sitting in the garage for two years. I was just wondering, besides drilling the side panel what else has to be done in the engine bay to install the snorkel?

After dropping the spare for the 6th time to check air pressure, I finally decided to flip it. I will now be able to check the air pressure far more often then every 6 months or so.

Easy to do and I'm not worried about the valve stem getting knocked off. It does not extend past the rim and I tucked it back by the diff pumpkin so it's partially protected there.

The real question should be: Why did I wait 3 years to do this?

The toughest part of the whole thing was getting the inner fender shroud out. That was a pain in the ads. Otherwise it was a pretty straight forward setup. As far as what has to be done in the engine bay, pretty much cutting the end off the intake line and running the new line connection to intake and some hose clamps.

I've seen some people run one of these in combo with the flip. They'll mount it right next to the license plate and you can check your pressure a whole lot easier.

I'm not so old yet I can't crawl under the truck. That is a good idea and I can see where it would make it easier to check but it may be one more way to leak air out of the spare too.

Thanks for the tip though! This is what makes TW so great.

Finally had the opportunity to use my Rigid D series midnight edition LED pods off-road on a recent hunting trip. I mounted them to the underside of the front Yakima round bar that's mounted to my Leer 180 mid-rise cap. I want them for some extra distance while running low beams & fogs. I'm very happy with the results.

So today I cleaned the oak leaves from inside the fenders at the door. I changed my cabin air filter and cleaned the throttle body and MAF.

The hardest part was choosing which ones to get. I went from Ray 10's to Stealth 6 to last second deciding on the sr-8's. I knew I had to go with the matte bronze though.

@SamGoingHam yesterday you had asked me about the bumper gap and steering affects of the 1" body lift.. I'll let the pics do the talking regarding the gap. The rear bumper is the only one affected by it... can't wait for my +1" high clearance rear!
    20161030_103127.jpg
    20161030_120851.jpg

Regarding the steering... after driving around last night and today on mostly empty country roads I can tell that there's a tiny bit more body roll, but that is to be expected. Only real difference is now I have to do closer to the speed limit through curves. No more rally truck :burnrubber:

When you lift the cab you've got to loosen the steering shaft clamps through the drivers wheel well to allow the spline shafts to separate keeping the stock mechanical geometry.

Today I installed ditch light brackets. Waiting ever so patiently on a shipment from the Iggy LED group buy.

Then I washed her all up after seeing y'all post all those clean trucks yesterday Iol... I'd get closer but those trail stripes are getting out of hand. Gonna have to take care of that in the future.

Oh I know it. For the longest time I was stuck on the SR8 but the Bronze was my fist and only choice period, its perfect.
Then Vin had to come out with another wheel! SMH

I love the look of the RAY10, perfect mix of old school bullet hole but also more modern. I have read on here that the lips (fake beadlock) traps and holds water, like when your washing or its raining. Have you experienced this at all?
