I'm all tapped out. Except for that speaker. There are a few handheld units reasonably priced on Craigslist.

Help me. Two broken wheel studs in two days. First one was broken by the shop after they failed to balance my tires and replaced for free.

Took the truck to Firestone, they got the wheels off and all but one lug would come off. Last one would not budge an inch so I tried, snapped the stud in half.

Now I am replacing the stud and down two lugs. What the fuck happened here?

Any reason they would get stuck? I took the wheels off to put on hub centric rings not an hour before bringing it in.

    1) Use "Anti Seize" on the studs before putting your lugs on.
    2) Be careful not to cross thread
    3) Be careful to not over torque the lugs

    That's my $0.02

Sorry you snapped 2...I've been there.

Could be the result of many things. Do you do your own maintenance (minus balancing)?

Someone stole my DeWalt drill from my garage. Walked in, took the bag, drill, charger and batteries and left the bits. That took balls! I was out walking the dogs for 20 minutes and poof!

Yes, for the most part. Also, my wheels are not hub-centric and getting them on and seated right can be a bit of a hassle which may have added to wear and stress on the threads.

Good thing Black Friday is coming. There are some cool impact driver and drill combos that should have good pricing on them. And I've been wanting one of those impact drivers for a while!

Link? I had been debating cameras for a few months now, but nobody will enter the house with the dogs there...we've tested that. haha

Dogs work for security purposes everywhere in cali and especially in Mexico! Another reason dogs are awesome! !!

BTW, looks like we might have another pup with us in baja. My little bro will probably be brining his German Shepherd. Big and scary looking, but is really just a gentle giant! :D

Frankie and Lucy like big dogs. This oughtta be good. Don't put your cerveza down or it'll get knocked over in the romp! Have you downloaded the Baja GPX files for RM747?

Haha! Trust me, I'm fully aware of the beer thieves!

I haven't downloaded it yet...I was actually just planning on following my internal compass. That should get me to Cabo and back, right?? o_O
