I just got the fiberwerx rear bedsides in and the passenger side went on with hardly any trimming but I have no idea what happened with the driver side because it needs a shit ton of trimming. It still will only take me a couple of hours but all the trimming that was done from factory on the passenger was just left for me to do on the driver.

I was going to order rear glass in the next couple days. My Fiberwerx front driver side fit really well and didn't need much of anything just minor sanding in one part, passenger side on the other hand was like yours and took a ton of trimming and was slightly off... I want to get fiberwerx rears but I'm a little worried about that happening again which is partially what has taken me this long to get rears.

Does anyone know if the McNeil flat top 4" long bed bedsides require a modified filler neck or if they'll work with the stock neck and gas cap door?

Yeah it looks like I was wrong about that. How did you do yours? I found these threads that mentioned at least the main filler tube could be swapped out for a 4Runner :notsure:

I think I must have been thinking about people using the stock 4Runner fuel neck:

So has anyone been able to run glass bed sides and a shell? I want to run the mcneil racing 4" bulge flat top bedsides but I also use my truck to camp in and I sleep in the bed 6-8 days a month and need something that let's me keep my shell. I don't really want to build a support frame in the back for it since I don't see myself going full caged. Would I be better off just cutting the fender skirts inside?

You'll need to either find a shell that doesn't fit over the bedsides like an aluminum one that a few manu's make or cut the lip off of it.

6" Mcniel is the only manufacter currently. Roadrunner makes a 4" apparently but they are in Mexico.
