C4 goes on thin. It comes with disposable applicators. i still have quite a bit left.

I mainly skip exterior dressing cause I don't always have the time that I want. Plus I am maintaining 3 vehicles that all live outside.

I uses 303 on interior some still. Just skip it on outside.

I really wanna try a trim coating, particularly for the wiper cowl. How do they hold up on all that rubber around the Windows? Does it hold up on that shiny non-porous rubber like that?

I hate to spend the $$ on a coating just for the wiper cowl. If it worked well around the Windows i'd prob give it a shot. But I don't know what else i'd use it on.

Bed rails get banged and bruised so much anyway, I really hate to waste a coating on them. It's just so easy to hit em frequently with a quick wipe down with the DG.

When I added Ditch lights, I had to remove cowl..so I plastidipped it. It's been a while now and looks great. Wife liked it so much asked me to do hers. Now we both don't have to clean our cowls

Like I mentioned earlier in this thread I apply Ultima Tire & Trim Guard (UTTG) on the rubber trim & hard plastics every 3 months. After every wash I hit my paint, plastic & rubber with Optimum Car Wax (OCW) which has excellent UVA/UVB protection. I believe this help the UTTG last longer plus the added UVA/UVB protection from the OCW helps prevent sun damage on the hard plastics. I also read the UVA/UVB protection from OCW will absorb into the clear coat over time.

I didn't try the rubber trim yet. Mine need a scrubbing bad before I coat. I used on the strips on the roof, front grill, bed rails, mud flaps, rear bumper trim, and the plastic around mirror.
