The only lots I know of that are gravel are along the river, which makes for a decent spot if your doing TOTW and don't want to camp along the trail, but my first and only time camping in those spots was my first time because it was dark and I wanted to drive into Moab along the river during sunlight.

1-2k is a little high unless your a diva and need to eat out every meal of the day and stay in a nice hotel every night and buy a bunch of tourist shit.

I can make the trip there and back on $600 Easily and that would include meals on the drive out and back. When in Moab it's usually nothing but meals from groceries I bought.

Now if I bring the wife it's a different story, we have to stay in a hotel every 2-3 days and eating out is more common. But still not much more money spent when 80/night gets me into the Hampton and only stay there 2/3 times during the week

Best Series of off road guide. I have a Colorado and love it. Provide trail maps, directions to the trail, mileage markers.

Gents I'm planning on going to manistee national forest for a off road/ disperse camping trip. Never done this type of trip or disperse camping any advice? I imagine the off road isn't bad by any means since it's a national forest
