Not familiar will buying used tires, guy says its 30-40% tread and hold air good. comes with lugs, no pressure sensors. he wants $250 and before I buy them thought I'd see if that's a steal or should I pass. Really sick of my steelies and road tires

If the tread depth on those AT's are as advertised, that sounds like a decent deal. I sold my sport rims with Dungflops at 50% tread for $150, and those tires were shit.

Thanks for the input, by the time i get pressure sensors this might not be worth it.

From what I'm reading you cant run no Tps without getting an annoying warning light right? and adding 100$+ to this transactions loses my interest

Yeah you will get a warning lightX. I've sold the same rims only for 200 in san diego if that's helps ease your mind

That's what I was going to say, just bypass the warning light. By the time you need new tires you can add the sensors then and reverse the bypassed light.

You could always go with external TPMS modules, which could be transferred to other vehicles.

I think that's a good deal. I sold my stock trd or wheels with 40% rugged Fails and no valve stems/tpms for 360

1st world upper percentile problems. Lots of folks would be glad to have straight wheels and decent tires.........

Save your angst for serious matters. If you've not had any yet, someday you will!

Looks like a decent deal to me. Offer him 200 and see what happens. Run them until the tires need to be replaced then add the new tpms when you get new rubber.

I did exactly what your planning to do a year ago with my Toy. Yeah, the sensors were a pain-in-the-butt but I am glad I did the switch. Much happier with the alum. rims and tires. I paid 300 for the rims and tires. Still running the tires. Plan to replace them next summer. Good luck on whatever you decide!
