    What's up guys

My truck has been down for a few months and I need to get it fixed

here's the link to post I made about the issue
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/weird-starting-issue-that-i-cant-figure-out.449955/

I really think the ECU is bad but I don't want to spend $250-$400 on a used one and end up not being the problem.

SO what Im asking is, Is there anyone in the San Antonio Area with a 2000 3.4 5 speed 4x4 truck that will lend me their ECU to install into my truck to see if it starts. (automatic trans or other years might work I really dont know)

I will do all the work and provide beer of your choice!

Even if you find someone willing to, they would need the same options you have. It still won't start until you take it to the dealer to have them reflash the computer.

The truck will start. the ecu for that is all the same. anything with a 3.4 motor can start it. you won't be able to use the options like 4x4 or vsc shit like that.
