    howdy everyone,

New here, but not new to the toolbox. I recently purchased an 06 dcsb from the original owner. Truck is surprisingly well taken care of.

That said, I'm on the hunt to address some issues. First, the truck has a BDS 6" lift with the Fox coilovers. I'm happy with the ride in the front (a little softer would be better), but the rear is far, far unbalanced in comparison.

Admittedly, I probably offroad much lighter than most here. The most I will ever do is some light trail riding, getting to the good camping spots, and maybe Moab next year.

That said, what would be a good rear setup to even put the truck? I don't mind welding, if a shackle flip is going to help me cause.

My two issues are: I've noticed the rear is a little skittish over small bumps, and makes the truck dance or feel low on traction. The harder I hit bumps, the better the front feels, but little bumps or rollers make the front feel equally unplanted.

The second, I'd like to soften the front a bit, and get rid of how darty it feels (reminds me of bumpsteer on an ATV). Steering rack bushings, tie rods, sway bar links and alignment are already in order. Do you think messing with the coilover settings would help?

For fun, I've attached a picture of the offending creature from last nights Cab mount chopping.
