@RelentlessFab are the skids you guys make for first gens a direct bolt on or are there any modifications? Looking at maybe buying a full set.

Edit: also why is shipping cheaper when I piece the skids together compared to the combo of both. It's $167 shipping compared to $340

They're designed to be direct bolt on, however if your front bumper has different skid mounting locations then you'd likely need to work that out there.

There is no more DIY bumper kits?

 

It goes under(welded to bottom plate of bumper). I've found with where our bumper situates the license that if we do the hinged plate mount the plate will either have to hang below the bumper, or has risk of rubbing the middle bottom part of the tailgate when it's down. The tailgate on the 3rd gen's really have a lot of curve/depth to them that complicates bumper design unfortunately.

 

Not necessarily a bad thing if you ordered before the sale. Sure you may have been able to save a bit, but the flood of orders from the sale pushes those orders into longer wait times to build them so you'll be ahead of that delay.
