Hi, for those who do not know me, I am XTP eXtreme Truck Performance http://extremetruckperformance.com/ and am working on developing an Intake Manifold Spacer for the Gen 3 Tacomas and other vehicles running the same engines. Things have gone well for Gen 2 Toyotas and Nissans so naturally the next gen was of interest. If anyone wants to be part of this development, then let me know. I am in Asheville, NC (western NC). I don't currently have access to a new 2016+ Toyota, but am ready to dive in and see what we can find for some additional torque and HP in the low mid ranges. Dynos have proven these to work on past engines, lets see if they work on this one!

Installed my first dimple then removed it.
Will be willing to set aside skepticism to see how this turns out.

Yeah, the last intake manifold spacer hocked on TW was super legit.

I think you might be thinking of the throttle body spacer.....

the IMS has merrit, longer intake runners create more low to mid range toruqe and power. OP has dynos to prove it on the 2nd gen. It will be interesting to see dyno numbers on a 3rd gen in general, let alone with the IMS.

Yeah, Throttle Body spacers don't work, but the Intake Manifold Spacer does. There are over 150+ Toyota guys running my spacer on Gen2 and they like them, and close to 450+ Nissan guys. I just need to get access to an engine of the Gen3 to get pics and measurements etc. Will need to get some made and do some testing.

Just checking again to see if anyone is interested in development of some power gains with an IMS. Looking for people and trucks to work with.

I know this is old but recently saw the the intake manifold spacer from the 4.0 and thought it looked similar and would fit the 3.5 intake manifold.

I have been trying to find ways to get back the torque. And it seems as though this would help. So just checking... a little belated.

Yes I am still interested in pursuing this. I need to get someone with a new Tacoma to get measurements of the intake manifold. Anyone interested in opening up the top of the engine to take a look lmk.

Are these made of metal or a Phenolic (non heat transfer) material?
