One thing I was going to ask is if you figured out a way to use the toe plates while on the turntables. It was annoying to get in the truck and move it back and forth to get the tire to move to remeasure toe.

Hey Brett are these the part numbers you used for the rear oil seal and bearings? Doesn't look bad I'll just have to take the axle to a shop and get it pressed apart and re-pressed

Yes. Nick's writeups are always spot on.

Just note, you probably have the old style inner seals, and therefore the inner retainer ring will need to end up in a different place. If I were to have a shop press it togeather, I would ask that they leave the inner retainer ring as inboard as possible. Check how it rides on the seal, if you need to press it in more, a piece of 2" tubing can be used to tap it on fairly easily.

I'll keep that in mind when I head up there next weekend to get it pressed in. Thanks

I find myself taking it out on the weekends though.

Not going to be much happening in here until later this winter or spring.

Do you have interest in a heavily discounted Cobb catless downpipe for your impreza? a coworker's wife doesn't like the exhaust on his new to him sti and he is looking for a hand swapping the stock back on his and selling the cobb

Not looking to go down that route right now. I would also need a tune or an Accessport to make the swap.

Thanks for the heads up though.

Nope. Although I've had the displeasure of driving through Eastern WY more than once.

Wyoming was exceptionally wyoming-esque with the wind and whatnot today.

You have a twin somewhere in Colorado then. Topper may have been a little taller from what I could see at a quick glance, otherwise hc rear, jerry cans, snorkel, etc.

I waved like a little girl thinking it was you but...
