Of course brother! Yeah, you will like them if you get them. just be patient and I understand the newer the truck, the easier the install so yours will likely go easier. And I am a monkey when it comes to this stuff so if I can do it, a vegetable can do it

I might be interested in this trip. Never done Moab but Ive traveled out to Utah and Az every year for the past 7 or 8. Last year was 21 days for $2k (2ppl). Camping only and living out of a cooler. Never less than 5k miles round trip. Hotels are a huge cost for only sleeping a few hours and showers. National forest are anywhere from free to $15 a night to camp. The 5gal coleman shower bags works awesome. Typing this on my phone so excuse the structure of this post, just offering traveling advice and any helpful info. I'm really considering throwing my name in, it'll be a few months before I can make a call on it tho.

Awesome thanks for the info! Please let us know if you want to join us. You may be the one that knows the best route from Alabama to Utah, as I'm not sure any of us have done that drive before.

Also i was talking to @stronghammer last night when he was selling his soul for a RTT. I had to tell him that i will not be making the trip with yall to MOAB. I am leading a crew headed out there and we all know how much it sucks to do trails with a ton of people. I will have 6 vehicles with me all traveling on pretty much the same dates out there. Except that we will be leaving MOAB that wednesday night or thursday morning and headed to Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Az. spending 3 days there then headed back that sunday. I am hoping that i can have everyone organized well enough that our convoys can link up and we get some awesome photos of the whole convoy. We will have a couple drones with us and be using this trip as an excuse to have multiple photo shoots. Im hoping that everyone in this thread gets to go and we all link up. We will be camping in moab every night except for the night before expo west we may go to a hotel for a good hot shower..

Yeah I think we should travel and even camp together at Moab, but we can do our own trail thing....crowded trails are no fun.

Yea I'm secretly hoping for a smaller group that actually goes. Too many people usually equals a cluster F and slow trail riding.

I would really like to break away from Moab a day early and hit some Colorado stuff like Engineer Pass, Black Bear Pass, and the Alpine Loop. Anyone interested?

I think it will be alright, we are all going to be slow going over those rocks and such. New terrain for most of us.
