is this rust too much?

    I'm looking at a 2003 4runner with 151,000 miles for $7,700. It has most service records up to 100,000 miles, but the owner sent me some pics of the underside & frame & it doesn't look great, but it just be normal surface rust, but I honestly have no idea. Any opinions? Suggestions? I'll attatch some pics.

    Nope, I'd stay away. These frames rot from the inside out, if it looks like that on the outside I'm sure the inside of the frame looks even worse. Not worth the headache IMO

    Yes it is! Way too much rust!
    Even if it just surface rust which I highly doubt it is, $7,700 for that is way too much. I suggest you go here and browse what's for sale.
