    Good afternoon folks,

I'm having an issue with my 3.4L engine (2002 TRD DBL) and was hoping to get some feedback from some of you folks who may have run into this before. The only modification to the truck is a K&N intake/filter. I got the same code about a year or two ago and ended up replacing plugs, wires, and the coil pack for the 3/6 cylinder.

A couple days ago I was running very very low on fuel, just didn't have time to stop. When I went to get gas the following day I had been parked uphill and the engine was bogging a bit which I attributed to being on the verge of running out of gas. After I filled the tank not only did the bogging not stop the check engine light came on. It runs smooth at idle and bogs under load/accelerating.

I replaced the plug wires last night and didn't see anything out of sorts on the #6 wire. Tonight or tomorrow I'm going to clear the code, swap plugs and see if I pull the code again, then if I'm still coding on the #6 I'll try swapping coil packs. My initial thinking was that tank sediment might have fouled up the injector and I'm currently running a can of Seafoam through the tank.

Am I on the right track? What should I check next?

    Thanks in advance!
