Really....I've got an aluminum fuel tank that used to live in the bed of my Dodge. It was to fuel tractors when I had my mowing business a few years ago. I've thought about putting it in the bed and running a line from it to the gas tank on the Tacoma. Another 120 gallons would come in handy on the next 2700 mile trip I go on....

+ the tank, the pump, and the DOT required fire extinguisher.....

Added approximately 1100lbs to my Dodge when it was filled.

Yup. Those tanks aren't light. Neither is the rest of the gear required. I could see a 50 gallon tank in the front of the bed, maybe with all the other gear not being TOO heavy...

Or....I just keep on stopping at gas stations every 300 miles or so....60 year old bladder won't make it THAT far....

I've got eight 5-gallon "jerry cans" if I plan on doing any around the globe treks any time soon.

Is there such a thing as too much traction?
I have traction control turned off and can get the tires spinning but these Yokohamas do not want to let me slide at allllll. Kinda running my playing in the rain
