I finally picked up the beach pass yesterday after a few friends went out on the smith point outer beach.

pass is good until the end of the year, However the lady who helped me said I can use the pass up until the day the new ones hit the counter for sale, so really I am good until around March

best $76 bucks I have spent in a long time
everyone rags on this for not be wheeling
and it is not wheeling trails clearly
however it is off pavement and by far the best way you can park far away from other people in relative privacy

the off season is the best out east and on the beaches!!!

Was just out there myself this past Friday afternoon enjoying the warm weather that day. Tons of fisherman out there taking advantage of the fall run. Still enjoyed some solitude, it's a long stretch of beach!

I met the legend Pismo Jim and his fj60, only one of his many land cruisers
Sadly I missed out on the massive yearly Turf and Surf land cruiser meet by only a day or so, the toyota scene is strong in the central coast....

Bundle up if your heading out today, holy crap!

I'm anxiously awaiting some skids I ordered on Black Friday. I'm sure they are many weeks away though.

seriously... most dealerships suck, its such a shame how people can be successful all while having shit customer service at the same time...

Went to all the long island dealerships, checkbook in hand, ready to sign & buy that day, none of them wanted my business for a cent below MSRP.

I ended up buying my tacoma from ohio. Including the plane flight there & gas/tolls driving home I still saved over $1,000 (and had a fun road trip :)

When I wanted a 2nd gen off road with the 6 speed manual every dealer on the island laughed at me told me what I wanted was a needle in a hay stack and they all insisted I order a new one if I wanted specifics....

well a one way flight to tulsa oklahoma and a seller who had exactly what I wanted and i was driving back up on my way home....

I went with Mobtown off road skids mainly because they are on the east coast so the shipping was "cheap". West coast shipping was crazy $$$
