Just installed a Bird Dawg Mirror Riser and Tech Deck in my 2007 Crew Cab. I saw these in the latest edition of 4WD Toyota Owners magazine. What great and practical accessories and easy to install as well. The Riser moves the mirror up about 3 inches and solves one of the few problems with the 2nd gen Tacoma and that is that the location of the mirror partially blocked my vision. Not any more. the mirror is raised up and really opens up the windshield. easy instal even with my Radar Detector mount attached to my rear view mirror. Just put the Riser in between the aftermarket mirror radar detector mount and stock Taco windshield mount. The Tech Deck was just as easy to instal. Now I am waiting for my adapters to come from Ram Industries to hold my GPS and iPhone. Great job, Bird Dawg.

I agree, pics can be found on Bird Dawg's website or in the November/December issue of 4WD Toyota Owner magazine.

I received my tech deck and I am trying to keep an open mind here..I don't want to be that "over picky" person, but, I don't want to install something permanent that does not look as new as the rest of my Tacoma (I keep the inside pretty clean). The tech deck I received has what looks like water spots all over it and it also has some scratches. Do they come like this? Am I supposed to paint it if I want it to have a clean look? I am waiting for BirdDawg to respond to my inquiry, but I wanted another opinion other than my own. Thank you.
