Greasing Front Driveshaft with Skids

    I will more than likely be getting full skids in the near future but thought of a question when I was under the truck greasing the driveshafts. How do you grease the front driveshaft when you have a trans skid? Doesn't this cover up the already limited access to the shaft? Do you have to drop the skid every time (which seems like a pain) or is there a way to snake something in there?

    I greased mine right before I installed RCI skids last week. I'll take a look under later today to see if it can be done without removing them.

    I just checked and I will still be able to grease my driveshaft zerks without removing the skids. There is access from the driver side.

    I have skids to the trans and can grease all of the zerks.

    Even if it WAS blocking your access to grease it....couldn't you take it off by removing something like 4-6 bolts?
