They had a model set up in the store room floor. The lower shelf is cheap, thin, and doesn't really fit correctly. But the top work area is pretty solid.

I just moved into my new house and I need SOMETHING to be a work bench. I planned on making one to incorporate my table saw but I don't have time yet. Once I get some peg board up and my work bench it'll help organize the area.

Yes this is all my junk in the 3rd car area. And yes the pretty pink tool bag has actually come in handy since I have no clue where all my tools are packed.

I have been obsessing about getting my tools really organized, so I found a good sized peg board and just purchased these J-peg hooks on Ebay, after comparing many types + they are made in the USA. Here => http://www.ebay.com/itm/27105740090...2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Nice fine. I like how it says they lock. I hate grabbing a tool off my peg board and the peg hook comes off and falls to the ground.

Yeah, I was tempted to buy the metal hooks, that first came up after entering it into the search engine, but glad I did a little more probing and saw over 1,300 people had bought these, so investigated further and it dawned on me that having them locked is really helpful and you can configure them to hold power tool...etc

I'd like to get a few of those yellow bins on the peg board, as the uses would be endless.

I have a huge peg board behind my bench and a box of hooks.

It's not been used. :anonymous: :bananadead:

Yeah, I get so frustrated when I need one item, cursing that this will never happen again and this time I will get organized, so next time when you have a project there will be no hide and seek.

At least the picture look good, so I will keep hope alive....for now.

.... the worst part about my life is the fact i have a HF literally 5 min down the road (just so happens to be the MAIN shipping center for like this half of the USA in camarillo ca). If i need a tool, i print out a 20% off coupon and free item coupon hop on the Honda Grom, haul ass to HF using all of 10 cents of gas, grab my tool n flashlight / multimeter... etc and come home.

At this point, i have too many free items.... anyone want a flashlight? hahaha

Have you heard?? The greater men's club of America is starting a "HF tools detox department". When you enter the front entrance of the unit, you must submit a torn up 25% super coupon (to show your intentions are sincere) and 1 catalog to be scanned on the back page, then every month you must give up one free HF gift (your choice). They will also set up a meeting of you and your family, so you all can be reintegrated to start your new life.

That's the dream when I look at my J-pegs and pegboard. Must be nice to have that organization, when you need something.

I did the pegboard organized tool bench dream. It didn't end well. It started off great though. :pout:

A month later you couldn't see the "bench" part of it anymore. :frusty:

I have a 3 ton low profile jack and the thing is fucking awesome. Works like a charm, smooth easy lowering, quick raising and its built well

Dude...the hooks falling when grabbing a tool is one of the most annoying things. I had to just take a strip of painters tape and run it across the hooks. I hate how it looks, but I couldn't take it anymore.

I hardly ever buy anything from them anymore. Their torque wrench fell apart coming out of the box, Wally-world's is also junk, so I bought a Snap-On (CDI Torque Products) 250fp max., wouldn't trade it for anything. Live and learn.

I was curious how long it lasted. I bought one for $15 and used it for an afternoon and it still works.
