I already have the selonoids. They're fitted to the mini compressor that I already have. But, you're right. The manifold is over priced. I just know that the selonoids will fit it without screwing around.

I have s bunch of house stuff to do today. Just drove 4 hours home from NH. I'll do some more research later.

Are you going to put a pressure regulator and water remover in line?

No water separator per se, just a tank drain. Luckily the tank I have has a ton of ports from 1/2" down to 1/4". It is convenient, but expensive to buy a bunch of plugs to fill them if not using.

The under bed spare tire will be gone when I get my BFF Bumper and swingout, so there will be a ton of room.
@fatfurious2 is about to start his craigslist search for my 6 gallon tank/pancake compressor. Although $99 new on Amazon doesn't seem bad.
I might check with @Sub-Zero to help me fab something after more research and input from all the NJDB's.

That's a pretty good price for a 6 gallon tank. As long as it has enough ports for you. If must have an in and an out though.

I don't think ports are an issue. If there's an outbound port, you can add a manifold of some sort.

Tearing down the new compressor for the tank leaves me with a entire new compressor head. I was thinking of using the 110v compressor and part of a "dual system" and be able to still temporarily hook up the 110 v compressor head to the 6 gallon tank when I'm at home and use the permanently mounted on-board ARB twin when I'm on the trails.
    I gotta think this through.

With the cfm output of the ARB twin, a 3 gallon tank is sufficient, and smaller. Look on EBay for an aluminum tank. Cheaper than buying a compressor, lighter, smaller profile.

Rifgimh the 110 compressor head to work with the tank on the truck will be way more trouble than it is worth. There is a bit too much involved with making it work. Better to just use the compressor on the truck if needed.

The tank you linked earlier for @HolyHandGrenade was $89.99
New compressor is $99. Your choice of a 6 gallon Bostich or a 3.5 gallon Porter Cable. Both Pancake tanks, so maybe fit better in the under bed spare tire space?

Mine is low profile. And cheaper than that. 3 gallon aluminum tank. No rust issues with tank that way. But water should still be drained regularly.

Fabbed up some quick brackets and welded them to the front of the crossmember. Will put a ball valve in place of the quick disconnect to drain it, and will use three other ports for air in from compressor, air out to locker manifold, and air out to quick disconnect in the cubby. Might add a quick disconnect up front somewhere also. Perhaps once I revamp my rear bumper to be a HC, might hide a disconnect behind the license plate. Front one may go into a recess in front bumper. That way I can make up a shorter hose to air up. Have a unique set up for that planned also.

    Nice!

I'm mounting my compressor and selonoid sin this. Possibly stick the quick connect out the side of it as well.

Is this messing up the use of the underbed tire carrier?

Yep. No room for a spare now. But my spare would not fit anyway.

#2 is a pretty big job with fabbing a new crossmember and all. That's a lot to ask someone to do two in one day...

#4 I'm planning to get everything ready to be welded at the same time as the frame plates. I'd like to pay the John to weld both up for me at once

#5 Do you guys have a spare room?

Are you saying @stairgod is slow? LOL.

I'll wait til you and him iron out the kinks. Then I'll get the quality work done by him.
