2013 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab.. 215/70/15. Steel rim. 5 Lugs. Want to go to a 16" or 17" alloy wheel and appropriate tires. Is this possible? If so, are the 5 lug stock alloy wheels from another Tacoma suitable? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

I was really looking for some specific info and can't seem to find it. I have a 2013 Tacoma Access Cab with 215/70/15 tires. Factory Steel wheels. I want to go to a 16" or 17" wheel but am unsure of the new tire size. Probably leaning to 16" Alloy 5 lug wheels. What is the largest tire that I could put on those 16" wheels? Thanks

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Try going to discount tires website and using the plus size feature looking up tires and wheels. That should get you in the ballpark.

Followed the link. Nothing about plus sizing. Just asked for tire size needed and gave a list of tires.

You will have to mess around on the site a little. They have plus size options.

After you put your vehicle info in you will see "optional sizes" at the bottom. Click that.

Go to the main direct tire site, that link posted is the eBay store. Google can get you there, as well as STFF.

Got it. Question. I want to go to a bigger tire and wheel. Can I go to a 245/65/16?

Not sure what to make of that. The site only gave a replacement. It is the same tire in 15", 16", and 17?". I do not want the same tire I want a bigger tire. Taller. More Circumference. Greater diameter. Not sure if I am making yself clear or not but I know someone has the answer here. Have not gotten an answer so far.

No it offers the largest tires you can fit staying within factory spec but you refuse to research anything on your own. Try google, good luck!

Have already replaced factory 16" tires and wheels with 17" wheels and a slightly larger tire on a pre-dinner. Was unable to find info. on the base model.
Local dealer was not helpful. Thought that someone MUST have done this upgrade and could shed some light.

There's a whole 5 lug specific forum full of info.

You can't do a 245/75/16 without a lift, AFAIK. I don't read in there at all but I think you're limited to a 235/75/16 on a stock height 5 lug.

Anyway.. you'll find more info by looking in that specific section of the forum, Wheels and Tires is a vague and extremely generalized topic. You have a 5 lug, and that's an entirely different suspension/ball game than what 99% of the forum has.
