I had to remove the rails and cleats on my 2012 when I owned mine.

 

I will post pics tommorow ... the mounting brackets slide right into the bed rails

 

i apparently take your advice, @OhioTaco68. I bought the Lund bars, now looking for a Tonneau. Are you still feeling good about this one? The pictures don't show a hump, which is the main thing I'm trying to avoid.

 

@spencer82 YES !!! I Love this cover. There are several reasons why ...

• The cover is great quality including all of the hardware included
• The install is easy, you DO NOT have to remove or loosen the factory bed rails. The included hardware slides right into the bed rail tracks and brackets bolt on there.
• 2 tensioners with adjustable thumb wheels make it easy to adjust cover tension. Mine was nearly perfectly set from factory .. i had to tighten cover by moving both thumb wheel tensioners 1/4 turn
• Price !!! i have had tonneau covers on my 2 previous trucks and paid more money but got less of a quality cover. For $290 i really don't see where you could get a better cover
• Sliding lock on cover at tailgate
• Looks .... it looks awesome, i have received numerous compliments and have had people ask me what brand/model it is
• Aluminum bars are built right in cover .. no humping slats that run across .. these are velcro'ed right into cover and roll up with it
• Rolls up easily ... this was a big thing for me as i want to be able to haul my small 10' pelican fishing boat

My LiteRider was an older one from 2010. Looks like the newer ones have been reengineered. This system looks a lot easier to manipulate.

I've had these covers on a Ranger, Dodge, and now two Tacos. I only took mine off to get a cap, which is what I'm sticking with now, but the LiteRider would be the only tonneau that I would own.

 

I was just about to get one of the lite riders, but wanted to put my rockymount bike racks on first. Can anyone with a lite rider tell me if it seals well and will clear these mounts?? TiA
