It may look like there's two options with yellow film, but pick the top one. That means there's no yellow film included.

Very cool. But figures that I've moved on from the '05 before these came around.

Too bad, one more mod I couldn't spend my money on!! :amen:

Had mine in for a while now, still liking them. In fact, I'd like to get a headlight bulb that matches the color temp. I don't want to do an HID upgrade though. Anyone aware of a factory headlight bulb that is in that 5000-5500K color range?

I bet the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs would be a good choice.

Vled led headlights are nice and come in 5k or 6k.

Factory, no. Doesn't exist if you're not doing a retrofit. If you are doing a retrofit, the Osram CBIs would be a very close match and are factory on newer BMWs.

They're not OEM, and they likely won't match up.

Maybe I miss understood, I was under the impression he hadnt retrofitted his headlights yet. If he hasnt retrofitted I still stand by my statement that vled makes great H4 bulbs with the proper reflectors to work in a halogen designed housing without blinding oncoming drivers.

Thanks for your write up HERE

Got mine in (my 2011 tacoma) tonight after the black friday sale (same price as the group buy, but got the freebees of laminx and some 194 LED's.) I did the laminx figured its free, If I dont like it later I will take it off. I think i will come in handy though this winter with snow and rain.

For color output I will post pictures soon, I will say it is more yellow with these fogs than my old stock halogen with factory bulbs but not as yellow as say a 3000k HID bulb, personally I wish they offered one only about 1/2-2/3 as yellow/amber so it is just a touch more yellow than standard halogen bulbs to cut through the bad weather better but not look like as euro racer. If you are in someplace like Cali that does not get much bad weather I would go no film but after my most recent rain storm with 5500K LED's in my headlights (opt7 with the cutoff mod) I couldn't see shit of the lines without my pre LED fog lights on (ok only one fog, my other had burnt out a few months ago so said was the excuse to buy these, never knew how much they added till I didnt have them)

Output of the lamps is great, very wide spread, helps when turning, especially left turns. I had to re-aim after a quick drive through the neighborhood and a back road. I had aligned them to the same as stock but with its sharp beam pattern it kind of went like / / instead of - - (as that they pointed up more) Lowered them a good 8-10in from I had them when parked about 10ft infront of my garage. Re-drove and now at 200+ft they dont cross my low-beams and shine more in front of the truck like they should as opposed to far away. Will do a report after the next storm. Thanks Andrew and the crew at TRS. (and yes I now want to retro my main lights even more than before)

Side note: this is now 2 times I have noticed LED replacement driving lights need more aiming down than stock BUT provide the same and more coverage. I think this is due to their much more directed light so even with cutoff's being at the same heights they are not equal.

It's kinda hard to see with the reflection but there is a good bit of condensation in there

I guess I should have checked the sealing before I installed them.
